“I want to include ‘used’ materials in everything I create. We already have an abundance of materials, I don’t want to contribute to further growth of that problem”

Although known for her sheepskin classics, Pudelko continues to promote environmentally-friendly fashion by creating fur-free mules from a cobalt colored mop to floral pattern carpets.
When asked the inspiration behind her work, she simply answered “I don’t limit myself and tend to find inspiration everywhere.”
While studying Fine Arts at the University of Westminster, the designer created a cowboy hat and shoes out of latex. She found this process “extremely fulfilling and fun creatively” and continued to experiment with various mediums for footwear.

After gaining recognition and press WESTERNAFFAIR is growing into a working label with a team which Pudelko says “is a huge change. I used to do everything myself…literally my bedroom floor. The line has evolved quite a bit.”
Olivia Pudelko is currently working on another enthralling collection for WESTERNAFFAIR. Check 50m, AUNÉ, distal phalanx, and Annie’s Ibiza for her latest drops.
